As an Engineer, I have always been a rat in the rat race. I never realized what I was getting into, when I chose to work as an Engineer "for someone". My rich dad had warned me "why would you want to make someone else prosperous with your own hard earned skills?". Well..., I argued about the pace of the modern world, how it is different from the old days, how he was outdated, how I valued recognition, etc etc. But then, after a decde of very successful career, i realized the truth....." I am just a Rat in the Rat Race!" and "Money rules" ofcourse unless you are Mother Teresa or someone like that.
As a child, I grew up listening to the regular bed time stories, imparting good values in my young mind. Honesty, humility, value of hardwork, etc being some of them. Unfortunately, I also learned that money is not only unimportant, but also "bad".
Damn...It took me two decades to unlearn that stuff and understand that money helps, money does'nt hurt and money becomes good or bad depending on the person who uses it. Finally I started thinking how to make money and buy my own freedom from "regular life". Thats when I encountered the Stock Market.
In short, I learned very quickly about stocks, markets and trading; thanks to my reading habit. I started off with 20,000 USD within 3 months and ended up with 40,000 USD in 2 years time. I realized, Every Rat Has a Day. That is to say that I doubled my capital in two years time. But it was no easy ride for me. Like most, I read through the books of many market gurus, many stock recommendation websites, subscribed to many news letters, tried day trading, swing trading, long term investment, small stocks, big stocks, penny stocks. Over time, I lost hell lot of money, and made hell lot of money. Here I intend to share the story of my journey through the dips and spikes, facts and follies, everything I learned so far.....for FREE! OK. Lets start.
